Sophia A. Nelson is the founder of politicalintersection.com and the editor of the Political Intersection Blog. She is a unique speaker, writer, and political analyst with a unique point of view in today’s modern political world. 

She is a longtime Republican political strategist, opinion writer, and attorney. She currently serves as Senior Counsel in the law firm of Holland & Knight’s Public Policy and Regulation Group. Ms. Nelson’s practice is focused in the areas of homeland security, intelligence and defense issues. However, Ms. Nelson successfully represents clients before all of the federal civilian agencies.
