Nina May is Founder and Chairman of the Renaissance Foundation, an international leadership organization with offices in the U.S. and the Republic of Korea. RF hosts international seminars, exchanges and events that bring leaders of different countries and cultural backgrounds together. RF also works to activate Americans to become better informed and involved in the political process.
As Chairman of the RF, Nina has testified on a number of occasions before the United Nations General Assembly, and before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and appeared on various TV news and talk shows.
Nina also writes and produces a daily radio commentary that has been available on over 1800 radio stations nationwide, and as a video web cast at www.ninamay.com. She co-hosted a morning talk show, two mornings a week that was aired on 1000 radio stations, and the Internet. In 1997-99, Nina produced and hosted the American Renaissance T.V. Show, a public interest and public affairs program.
From 1990-1998, Nina published “Paradigm 2000,” a magazine distributed throughout the nation. She also developed and owns the international website, RCNetwork.net which features news and potential daily video web casts from every country in the world.
Her art series, honoring the heroes and victims of the attack on the U.S., Sept. 11, 2001, was hosted by the Government of Korea in the National Assembly building in Seoul, Korea in May, 2002. The song she wrote the words and lyrics to, “Fallen Heroes,” has been produced and released by Grace Note Productions.
Nina is the producer, director and writer of the award-winning documentary, Emancipation Revelation/Revolution which explores the history of the civil rights movement and the role that both major political parties played in it. It has been featured at the Liberty Film Festival in Hollywood, and came in first at the Noir Film Festival in San Diego in Feb. of 2006.
Nina has created and is currently producing several TV shows including, “Just Horsing Around in Virginia,” and “Renaissance Discoveries” which features independent film producers, directors and writers as well as new musical talent.
Nina received her B.A. from Stetson University, DeLand, Florida, and attended the George Mason School of Law, Arlington, Virginia (1978-80). Nina holds a second-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and has traveled to over 70 countries around the world.
