Shok has been interested in music since he can remember. He would play drums, congas, listen to music constantly and borrow his dads recorder and record sounds any chance he got. At the age of 10 he began to DJ, this was because of the influence of DJ’s like Red Alert, Chuck Chillout, The Latin Rascals, Marley Marl, and The Awesome Two in New York that he would record every weekend as they mixed on the radio. He started to love hip hop and wanted to be a DJ. When he was in the 6th and 8th grade he Djd the Dance Marathon for his elementary school.

Throughout his High School years he would DJ at local parties that he would promote and finance, through a Job at CVS. At the age of 16 he began to become interested in producing music, he would borrow equipment or rent out studio time to make beats at the same time he was spinning in Westchester and NYC at clubs and local parties. At 18 he bought a pre-production studio. In the basement of his parents home he recorded, produced and put out independent records such as Hi-Tech 24/7 an underground hit selling about 10,000 vinyl and taking him to perform as far as Bucharesti, Romania and out of the basement into a private studio.

After some time the Indie label (Mass Vinyl) proved to be a heavy strain. The label was closed but he kept the studio. He would do any work possible to stay alive. At the age of 24, he finally got his big break. He signed on with the Ruff Ryders just before they released DMXs first album. It was too late to get any music on there, but he was able to get one song on the 2nd album. The Song was Slippin, It was the first single and was a huge success. He went on to produce about 19 commercially released songs during the 4 year contract period. All of them sold a total of over 13 million units combined. Three of them were singles and most were played in the mix. He made a name for himself in Hip Hop as a producer. Although he appreciated all that comes with these achievements he was Shocked to realize that success did not fill the void he had inside. In 2005 , he released his own CD and is taking the Christian world by storm.
